Founded in 2018, Simcoe County Section gives a diverse group of women, living across Simcoe County, an opportunity to get together socially and by identifying unmet needs, the ability to give back to their local community.
Past Achievements include creating a library in the Barrie Women’s and Children’s shelter, addressing food insecurity through an ongoing partnership with the Barrie Food Bank, raising awareness of trafficking in human persons and partnering with the Canadian Federation of University Women for International Women’s Day.
