Ageism Issues – Awareness and Action

Project- Ageism Issues

Age Discrimination is Unacceptable!

Ageism affects how we think, feel and act towards others and ourselves based on age. Ageism imposes powerful barriers to the development of good policies and programmes for older and younger people, and has profound negative consequences on older adults’ health and well-being.” This declaration from the World Health Organization (WHO) prompted us to create an Ageism Committee to create more awareness, educate ourselves and advocate for the elimination of such barriers!
